She enjoys giving back to her community by teaching therapeutic yoga that is accessible to all through the Viniyoga approach. She began this journey while attending college at the University of New Mexico. She attended yoga classes through college and had fun exploring the various yoga studios around Albuquerque. After completing this certification in 2017 she has taught prenatal courses while pregnant with her first child and then after having her daughter she moved back to New Mexico to build a home yoga studio so that she could continue to teach to her community. While teaching at her home studio courses she has also been working on completing an online certification in chair yoga through Yoga Vista Academy.  She is now employed as a yoga instructor at Hoy Recovery Program in Velarde, using the therapeutic aspects of Hatha yoga with the Viniyoga approach to help in the rehabilitation of their clients.
